Levonorgestrel is a progestin-only emergency birth control pill intended for use within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse or after a contraceptive accident, such as broken condom.

Contingency One can prevent pregnancy if the tablet is taken within 72 hours (3 days) and preferably within 12 hours after a contraceptive accident or unprotected sex (sex without birth control). It is most effective in the first 24 hours after intercourse. Contingency One CANNOT terminate an existing pregnancy. Although there is no scientific evidence that Contingency One would harm a developing embryo, women who are already pregnant should not use this product. Not a substitute for correct use of regular birth control. This product does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other STD's

Medicinal ingredients: Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg. Non-medicinal ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate and polyvinyl pyrrolidone K-25.
